1986 S $1 Proof Silver Eagle PF 70 NGC Ultra Cameo Mercanti Signed

The first year of issue 1986 Silver eagle in perfect PF70 by NGC, and hand signed by the designer himself John Mercanti. Back when the silver eagle program started, the proofs were struck in San Francisco, and this coin carries the S mintmark. The population on these is far smaller than the PCGS Mercanti variety.
